Taken at capital rotunda in Olympia. This girl was so fascinated with the tree ornaments. She first studies the ornaments, then found one she could touch, then spins the globe.

Man walking the dusty road in rural Mexico

This series of photos was taken in rural Mexico, near Mazatlan. I was on an open air bus and noticed this old man walking along the road ahead of us, so I just started snapping the sequence. I was curious what the old man was going to look like, once we got ahead of him. This was taken with auto on my Nikon D40x, pre-photography class.

My favorite photo taken at Tumwater Falls

The field trip at Tumwater Falls on July 10 was a lot of fun and I learned a lot. I wouldn't have known how to take this photo a month ago with the same results.
